Union Energy is committed to ensuring that you receive on-going competitive prices for mains gas and electricity. What's more, we have introduced a Winter Holiday Discount for gas customers which applies in winter.

This special discount means that every December and January we will waive the daily service charge for gas - meaning that you will receive even smaller bills!

What's more, if you switch both gas and electricity to Union Energy, you will receive a further annual discount of up to £15.75 (including VAT).

Please note that the Gas and Electricity Offer annual discount is only available to customers who receive a single bill and make single payments by one of the following payment methods: monthly direct debit or standing order, or quarterly direct debit, cash, cheque or postal order.

All savings that follow include both additional figures shown above.

Top Tip: To benefit from our cheapest prices, switch both your gas and electricity supplies to Union Energy and pay by monthly direct debit.

As well as saving you money, Union Energy offers you a choice of payment methods to make life even easier, so you can choose the best payment method to suit your household budget. The payment options we offer are as follows:

Monthly by direct debit or standing order

Quarterly by direct debit, cash, cheque or
postal order

Prepayment – pay as you use with a
prepayment meter

[Please note that prepayment meter savings are not available to view on this website. Please call us on 0800 027 9000 for further information]

Depending on how you choose to pay, you will get quarterly bills or statements. Bills will usually be based on actual meter readings. Where this isn't possible, we will issue an estimated bill based on your previous gas and electricity usage.

Please note that paying by Direct Debit saves you the most money because it uses our most efficient administration and billing methods. This enables Union Energy to pass on these cost savings to you in the form of lower prices.

What's more, you only need to arrange Direct Debit once and then monthly or quarterly payments are made automatically from your bank or building society - on a date that suits you. You won't receive bills when paying by Direct Debit, but you will get a quarterly statement giving you details of the cost of the gas and electricity you have used.
